Who we are

Grant Pennington, operating as a sole proprietor under the name QuoteFast Pro, runs this tool for home service businesses to build quotes and share them with clients as a link. This policy explains what information we hold and why.

Information from account holders

When you create an account we store your email address and password (the password is stored in hashed form by our authentication provider). In your settings you may also provide your business name, logo, brand colour, phone number, email address and business address. This information appears on the quotes you send.

Information about your clients

When you build a quote you may enter your client's name, email address, phone number and job address, along with line items, pricing and notes. We store this on your behalf so the quote can be created, shared and tracked. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or contact your clients for our own purposes.

You are responsible for having a lawful basis to enter your clients' details and for telling them how their information is used in your business.

Quote activity

When a quote link is opened we record that it was viewed and when. If your client accepts a quote we record the name they type as a signature and the time of acceptance. If they request changes we store their comment. We email you when a quote is first viewed and when it is accepted.

Billing

Paddle.com Market Ltd acts as the merchant of record for all paid plans. Payments, card details, invoices, tax and refunds are handled by Paddle under their own privacy policy. We never see or store your card details. We store only a subscription reference, the plan you are on and its status.

Service providers

We use third parties to run the service: a cloud database and authentication provider for storing your data, an email provider for notification and account emails, Paddle for billing, and privacy-friendly aggregate visitor analytics that counts page views without building profiles of individuals.

Quote links

Shared quote links contain a long random token and require no login, so anyone with the link can view that quote. We ask search engines not to index these links. Treat a quote link as private and share it only with the client it is for.

Retention and your choices

We keep your quotes and business details for as long as your account exists. You can edit or delete quote content at any time from within the app. To have your account and associated data deleted, email quotefastpro@gmail.com and we will action it.
